Medical assistants work under the supervision of homeopathic and integrated medicine physicians licensed within Arizona. The supervising physician must be trained and legally capable of performing any of the delegated procedures and treatments performed by the medical assistant. (Further information on training requirements for both the homeopathic and integrated medicine physician and the medical assistant may be reviewed in the rules located in the Arizona Administrative Code R4-38-301 through 312.
